Our Mission: The Nonprofit Development Partnership (NpDP) is dedicated to sustaining and enhancing the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations through education and capacity-building opportunities in the Flathead region.

Who We Serve: The focus of NpDP is on 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations engaged in five general areas of community service: Arts and Culture,  Basic Human Needs, Conservation/Natural Resources, Economic Development and Education.

Our Vision: NpDP's vision of service to nonprofits by 2012 includes these elements:

• Accessible, Meaningful Resources including a useful website, resource bank of professionals, a robust network for nonprofits and staff and volunteers, and an annual regional nonprofit conference.
• Increased Community Awareness, such as relationships with businesses and partnerships with other training organizations, of the impact and value of the nonprofit sector
• Enhanced Infrastructure for NpDP, including full-time staff, office space, and an expanded steering committee for broader representation
  
• Dynamic Partnerships including an expanded relationship with FVCC and other training organizations, a possible nonprofit certificate, a strong relationship with the Montana Nonprofit Association and the County Library, and established relationships with the profit sector
  
• Visionary Programming based on research about the evolving needs of nonprofits
• Diversified Funding for NpDP, including support from foundations, corporations, and individuals
